Favrot & Shane Companies, a Metairie, La. real estate developer, design-build firm is adding an Architect to our team of multifamily design and renovation professionals. As an Architect with our team, you will:
To be a successful member of our Architectural team, you will need:
- Coordinate with investors to create a design program for several new and existing multifamily developments.
- Head up a team of designers and architects to develop the concepts through all phases of design.
- Coordinate with our in-house construction company, to value engineer the design.
- Lead and assist a team of designers and architects to produce all required construction documents.
- Obtain all required permitting for construction.
- Coordinate closely with the construction department throughout the construction process.
To be a successful member of our Architectural team, you will need:
- A minimum 7-years of experience in an architect's office or related construction field.
- Bachelor's degree in architecture.
- Louisiana Architectural license.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite .
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as REVIT and Sketch up.
- Proficiency in CAD designing and presenting detailed drawings.
- Familiarity with all building codes. IBC, NFPA, ADA etc.
- Experience in Multi-Family design would be a plus.
