Senior Research Analyst

Acadian Consulting Group seeking Senior Research Analyst in Baton Rouge, LA. Conduct high-level research in energy regulation, market trends, policies, & studies for clients; Apply high-level of research methods, continually collect & analyze data, analyze relevant market & industry data, identify actionable intelligence, interpret complex research data & process large sets of data & findings into strategies/solutions, advise senior management/ present findings to management/clients. Prepare reports & exhibits used for expert testimony/litigation support for clients before public commissions or U.S. civil courts.

Requirements: BS Economics or Finance or Environmental Management or Agribusiness Management or Agricultural Economics, or related field, plus 2 years research experience in: business, economics, regulatory/public policy and/or other analytical disciple in energy, public utility or natural resources industry, and at a state or federal regulatory agency or energy company/utility, plus 2 years experience with MSOffice, R-Studio, SAS, Stata.
