Disease Intervention Specialist (DIS)

Acadiana CARES, in conjunction with the Louisiana Office of Public Health STD/HIV/Hepatitis Program, is seeking applicants for a Disease Intervention Specialist (DIS) to work in the Louisiana Office of Public Health STD/HIV/Hepatitis Program in New Orleans, La. The successful candidate will be responsible for disease intervention with individuals diagnosed with STDs and/or HIV, and linkage to treatment and care services. 
Candidates for the position must hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have a minimum of two years’ experience in a health or social services setting. Must have a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
