The eCommerce Inventory Coordinator supports product inventory and customer inquiries for our ecommerce brands related to Southern Thing Shop for It’s a Southern Thing. This position monitors and organizes inventory stock levels and warehouse supplies, ships and receives orders and handles all customer service communications.
For this position, you will need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum one year customer service experience, along with general administrative experience
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to learn our client server platform
- Good written communication skills to effectively communicate through email
- Good general math skills for inventory monitoring
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operate Shopify, Quickbooks Enterprise and Ship Station in daily fulfillment of orders, shipping and receiving.
- Maintain organization of inventory and shipping supplies for an efficient workflow process.
- Perform regular cycle counts accurately, monitoring inventory levels for refresh.
- Create purchase orders for multiple vendors, to maintain inventory levels.
- Through email and phone, answer, address and solve e-commerce customer complaints and issues; coordinate returns by providing proper tools and information.
- Provide regular and ad hoc reporting to manager.
- Escalate complaints/issues appropriately and promptly for resolution, when out of regular scope of authority.
