Law Firm Electronic Billing Specialist – Remote Work

This position requires experience as an electronic billing specialist in a law firm environment.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the following items on a monthly basis: • Uploading of the firm’s invoices to various electronic billing platforms. • Resolving issues that may prevent bills from being uploaded. • Receiving payment notifications from electronic billing platforms and notifying relevant attorneys of any deductions taken. • Assisting attorneys in preparing appeals of deductions taken. • Receiving notifications of denied appeals and preparing write-off requests. • Documenting all activity in the firm’s collection program. • Monthly reporting on the status of all bills being managed by the specialist. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma and sufficient experience in law firm electronic billing to perform their duties with a minimum of training and must be proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook. Experience interacting with law firm time and billing programs is required; experience with Coyote Analytics is a plus. Experience with electronic billing platforms is also required. This is a full-time position offering a remote work option. The successful applicant may work in our New Orleans, LA office, our Gulfport, MS office, or work from any remote location within the continental United States.
