Clinic Operations Manager
The Clinic Operations Manager is responsible for the daily activities of a defined team of clinical and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality efficient and effective care for patients from an administrative and operational standpoint. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business, nursing, or other healthcare related field or at least two years of leadership experience in a healthcare setting. Master's degree in business, nursing, or other healthcare related field is preferred. Five years of experience in ambulatory care with three years in a supervisory role is required. Previous nursing or clinical experience in an appropriate healthcare setting; Super-User experience-electronic medical record preferred. Required licensure to practice nursing in the State of Louisiana if applicable. CPR certification. Preferred: Certification in area of practice; Advanced Cardiac Life-Support if RN.
Normally works agreed upon status, but must be available to adjust schedule to meet the needs of the practice. Recognizes and accepts role during emergency conditions. Must make judgments and decisions regarding administrative and operational duties in a sometimes distracting environment and within a timely manner. Must set priorities to provide the most effective and efficient patient care, frequently under pressure of multiple, simultaneous activities. Must think critically and communicate effectively. Must be able to motivate and give directions; creative and resourceful. Knowledge of accreditation and certification. Organization and coordination skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with individuals. Must possess effective communication and guest service skills. Computer knowledge/skills required.
