High School Graduate; at least two years experience in Echocardiography and Doppler Echocardiography; Registry eligible preferred. Certified in CPR; ability to assist in other areas throughout Cardiology. Performs M-Mode and 2-dimensional echocardiograms as well as pulse wave, continuous wave and color flow doppler studies.- Assists Cardiologist during Transesophogeal studies.- Performs stress echocardiographic studies, if delineated. Assists in the training of newly hired personnel.- As needed.- Provides precise quantitative and qualitative interpretations of all echo procedures and assures proper reporting and processing of all procedures performed.- Complies with guest relation standards and assures the highest quality of patient care. Demonstrates competence and knowledge in the assessment, treatment and care from the newborn to the geriatric patient, as applicable.
