Rehabilitation Technician

Under the direct supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech/Language Pathologist, Social Worker, or Rehabilitation Counselor, the Rehabilitation Technician is responsible for assisting in direct and indirect patient care.- Assists with the specific technical aspects of treatment.- Demonstrates the ability to exercise tact, diplomacy and confidentiality in dealing with patients, physicians, co-workers and visitors.- May provide care to patients in pediatric to geriatric age groups. - High school graduate or GED equivalent.- Previous training and experience desirable but not essential.- Worker receives on the job training under close supervision.-
