RN - Cardiac Rehab

To perform the Responsibility of all nursing and educational aspects of patient care in Phases I, II, III of the Cardiac rehabilitation Programs. Also performs the teaching responsibilities for various cardiovascular interventional procedures and surgery. Assist in the organization, planning, and implementation of all phases of Cardiac rehabilitation including community related education, program development, and patient counseling. Must be a registered nurse, BSN preferred, with 1-2 years critical care and/or cardiac telemetry experience. Cardiac Rehabilitation experience preferred, but not necessary. ACLS certification preferred, American Heart BLS required. ALS is required within the first year of employment and must be maintained. Must be articulate in risk factors for cardiac disease and having accurate working knowledge of arrhythmia.
