We currenlty have an opening for an Associate Product Manager. The Associate Product Manager will be responsible for collaborating with cross functional teams in the development, implementation and launch of products. Develop and manage timelines for product launches. Gather and prioritize product and client requirements, collaborating with other lines of business to ensure revenue, strategic and client satisfaction goals are met. Actively identifies product development opportunities by monitoring/researching market trends, innovations within the industry, and new vendors and startups.
Required: • Bachelor’s degree in a related business field. Four years of related experience can be substituted for the degree. • Excellent team building skills • Good oral and written communication skills • Ability to professionally work alongside teams within the bank to achieve the institution’s goals • Ability to help motivate and generate enthusiasm/awareness as it relates to new products, corporate initiatives, etc. • Strong time management and analytical skills • Strong organizational skills
Preferred: • Experience with product management, and phases of the product lifecycle • Ability to perform basic profitability analysis of products, knowledge of Agile development methodology • Business line experience in Mortgage, Retail Banking, and Commercial/Small Business Banking
Specific Job Functions:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development, implementation and launch of products • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product requirements, implementation plans/schedules, and resource requirements • Participate in Product Committee meetings, product status meetings, and the Product Roadmap • Assist in risk/benefit analysis on product innovations, presenting results to Product Committee • Works closely with Marketing to on execution and design of product kick-offs and awareness campaigns, as needed • Ensures accuracy of the bank’s Product Catalog • Assist Business Intelligence to conduct analysis on profitability of products, providing reports and product recommendations, including promotions, incentives, and contests • Provides support in the execution of Voice of the Client (focus group) meetings, including the support of Marketing • Complies with regulatory rules and regulations, evidenced through successful completion of training and demonstrated ability. • Performs other duties as appointed by management
