Senior Field Service Engineer #SFE-DP2024

Kongsberg Maritime Inc. seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer – Dynamic Positioning Software and Hardware to work in St. Rose, LA 70087 and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. and offshore to primarily work on Dynamic Positioning (DP) releases in both delivery and after sales phases. Provide technical support both in the office and onboard to customers and colleagues. Requires Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or a closely related field plus (4) years relevant experience.

Travel Required: Up to 50% (95% domestic travel plus 5% international travel) Willing to travel on short notice. Willing to work offshore as well as travel on helicopters and crew boats.

Work Schedule: On call during weekends, holidays and/or 24/7. Overtime: 20+ hours/week.
