Reporting to the Associate Director of Libraries, the Education Librarian provides general and virtual information, research, and reference services. Coordinates the development and assessment of library tutorials, resource guides, and other content aids. Plans, teaches, and assesses information literacy instruction with faculty. Develops web- and print-based materials. Locates and creates digital content to support academic instruction. Explores, evaluates, and encourages deployment of emergent technologies in library programs and services. Remains up to date on best practices with instructional technologies including LibGuides, Camtasia, and others; provides training on these technologies to other library faculty and staff. Collaborates closely with staff across the library and in the schools of the university.
