Clinical Trials Coordinator
The LSU Health Sciences Center School of Allied Health Professions is accepting applications for a Clinical Trials Coordinator within the Department of Physical Therapy. The Clinical Trials Coordinator will assist the Principal Investigator with an NIH funded clinical trial to investigate the effects of a home-based treadmill training intervention protocol for children and adolescents with cerebral palsy. Responsible for overall study coordination, scheduling all visits, maintaining patient communication during the research study, database management, data entry, ordering study supplies, and assisting with staff training, data collection and recruitment. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a basic or health-sciences related field and one year of research and/or clinical experience OR a master’s degree or higher in science or healthcare related field. Preferred qualifications include two years or more of human subjects’ research or clinical experience, preferably with individuals with developmental disabilities; CITI Clinical Research Coordinator certification; project and database management experience.
