Incumbent is responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing. Assists with the accounting and administrative duties of the Payroll Office.
Payroll Processing • Coordinate the processing of monthly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly and supplemental payrolls • Review and analyze timesheet data entered in PeopleSoft Time & Labor; implement corrections as required • Coordinates back end payroll processing such as generating pay advices and generating payroll interfaces • Assists in the process of bi-weekly, monthly and supplemental payrolls for Company 3, including the back-end processes
Data Administration • Processes data changes • Processes queries for recurring and adhoc reports • Assists with analysis of payroll liability accounts and reconciling items
Payroll Testing • Participates in the PeopleSoft testing, including upgrade testing, patch testing, year-end testing and system enhancement testing • Works with the Information Technology department to resolve functionality issues
Audit Administration • Participates in payroll audits • Generates reports for requested information • Maintains the integrity of the payroll records
Required Education: Bachelor's in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field 2 years of accounting or payroll experience A bachelor’s degree in another field may be substituted with (2) additional years of accounting or payroll experience.
