The Project Manager of the Louisiana Quality Network (LQN) will assist the LQN Director with operations for the statewide Network of hospitals participating in the Managed Care Incentive Payment (MCIP) Program. This staff member, along with Director, will be accountable for the Network’s achievement of over $100M in incentive payments annually by improving Medicaid care quality and cost efficiency. In collaboration with executive leadership at LQNs 12 partner hospitals and health systems, the program activities managed will reduce inappropriate emergency department utilization, reduce preventable hospital readmissions, promote evidence-based practice, reduce low-value care, improve maternal and perinatal outcomes, improve breast cancer screening rates, improve autism and developmental screening, and improve opioid use disorder. The selected candidate will assist in the successful achievement of incentive payments through excellent project management and the execution of implementation and operational project activities. The role requires strong communication skills, creative problem-solving skills, the capability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the ability to assure quality improvement across milestones and hospitals. A successful candidate will be a pillar of accountability, ensure collaboration and respect among clinical, administrative, and executive teams across the network. A successful candidate will have the ability to maintain forward momentum toward successful outcomes in face the of aggressive schedules and dynamic work environment. The role requires technical writing skills and the ability to create professional reports, dashboards, and multiple annual reports. The selected candidate will also assist in organizing and facilitating the network’s annual statewide meeting in collaboration with executive leadership at the Managed Care Organizations.

Required Education: Bachelor's in Nursing, Public Health. Health Administration, Public Administration, or related field Minimum 3 years of program management experience in public health or healthcare organizations, including working in teams to execute strategic initiatives and drive performance in multi-organizational projects.

Preferred Education: Master's in Public Health, Health Administration, Public Administration, or related field.

Preferred: 5 years of program management experience
