Associate Dean - Nursing Research, Scholarship & Science
The Associate Dean for Nursing Research, Scholarship & Science is administratively responsible for developing and directing activities for the Office of Nursing Research, Scholarship and Science and for stimulating, promoting and developing the research interests and related productivity of the School of Nursing faculty. Associate Dean manages the Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing [PhD] academic degree program and supervises the Director of the PhD in Nursing Program. The incumbent is accountable to the Dean of the School of Nursing. Minimum Qualifications Doctorate in Nursing or medical research field AND five (5) years of publications, grant writing & research funded experience at the national level; Exp. as reviewer at the national level or as member of a Univ. Institutional Review Board experience.
