LCMC Scholars - Academic Success Coordinator

Incumbent in this position performs high independent coordination of the Louisiana Children’s Medical Corporation Scholars Program and academic advising activities with the purpose of promoting academic standards and student success. Individual will be responsible for the overall management of the LCMC Scholars Program and operations of the academic support unit (tutoring and Supplemental Instruction programs) of the LSU Health New Orleans Academic Success Program. The LCMC Scholars Program and Academic Success Coordinator will directly report to the Assistant Dean for Student Services and indirectly to the Dean of the School of Nursing.

Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree • One (1) year experience in business or education, including: advising, student recruitment/retention, related student services, or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.

Preferred Qualifications: • Master’s Degree in Business Administration or related.
