2nd Shift Fabrication Foreman
MECO on the Northshore is seeking an experienced Fabrication Foreman to assume responsibility for the 2nd shift Fabrication Department. This individual will be responsible for hiring, evaluation and training of all new 2nd shift fabricators. He/she will supervise fabrication and sheet metal craftworkers. The Foreman is responsible for ensuring all assigned work orders are completed on-time and budget and meet MECO’s Quality Standards.
The ideal candidate will have the following minimum qualifications: • HS diploma or equivalent o Some college preferred • 5+ years production welding experience o Must have TIG welding certification • 4+ years supervisory experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment. • Basic computer skills, including: • Ability to read drawings and schematics
This is a full-time, exempt Staff position with the standard MECO benefit package. The 2nd Shift Foreman will be expected to work from 1 p.m. until the last 2nd Shift employee has left for the day. This individual may also be required to supervise on the occasional weekend during the day. Relocation assistance may be provided.
