Insurance/Escrow Loan Specialist
Position Summary: This position reports to the Credit Officer and is responsible for all aspects of insurance tracking for collateral held by RB, and all escrow transaction processing, loan administration reports, and various other duties listed below.
Essential Functions: • Responsible for verification of insurance on collateral. • Work with insurance companies to obtain current insurance. • Prepare weekly insurance reports from tracking company to account officers. • Force places insurance when needed. • Handles Escrow disbursements for taxes and insurance. • Prepares Annual Escrow Analysis Statements and Short-Year Statements as needed. • Notarize bank documents. • Review various loan administration daily/weekly/monthly reports. • Create or modify memos, spreadsheets, policy or procedure documentation, or similar. • Reviews all loan files for financial exceptions as per Loan Policy. • Prepare monthly Financial Statement Expiration Report. • Performs loan and collateral maintenance as needed. • Assist with workflow of department. • Post information to corporate intranet and assist with keeping data current. • Manage departmental files. • Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and other material. • Learn to operate new office technologies as they are developed and implemented. • Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, scanner, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheets, word processing, database management, and other applications. • Make copies of correspondence and other printed material. • Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages or transfer calls to appropriate individuals. • All other duties as assigned.
Back-Up Functions: • Assist with verification of scanned documents. • Scanning loan files and miscellaneous documents. • Constructing loan funding desk. • Process principal payments and returned loan payments. • Coordinate the receipt and approval of departmental bills and submit to Accounting’s system in timely manner.

Experience and Education: High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) and two years of previous insurance/escrow experience is required.
