Assistant Director of Facility Operations

Assistant Director of Facility Operations Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Physical Plant Services invites applications for the position of Assistant Director of Facility Operations. The Assistant Director reports directly to the Director of the Physical Plant and will have a close working relationship with the university's academic and research units. Provides supervisory and broad direction for Energy Management, Fire Alarm Controls, HVAC, and Plumbing/Welding shops. Supervisory responsibilities over full-time and part-time (student) employees will also be required. Maintain sustainable programs and lead research, create and implement Campus Sustainability Plan. Draft and prepare reports, presentations, and proposals for utilities (electricity, gas, and water consumption) and recycling measurements. Work together with State organizations, such as Keep Louisiana Beautiful, as well as other Universities, to benefit the State of Louisiana by promoting personal, corporate, and community responsibilities for a clean and sustainable environment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS A bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field from an accredited University

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master's degree in relevant field (Business, Science and Technology, Environmental Science, Architecture)
