Our client, a highly respected defense firm, seeks to hire a top-notch paralegal to become a valued member of their admiralty / maritime team.

Responsibilities:

• Trial preparation and attendance
• Scheduling
• Discovery
• Document review and management
• Calendaring
• State and federal court filings
• Legal and fact research
• Timely interaction with all parties involved

Requirements:

• 5 plus years of insurance defense and / or maritime experience with the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
• Be technically savvy with some database exposure
• A stable work history and excellent references
• A polished, professional demeanor
• A bachelor’s degree and / or paralegal certification
