THE BLOOD CENTER IS HIRING FOR A NEW SLIDEL LAB! BENEFITS START AT DATE OF HIRE! We love what we do, and we’re looking for passionate individuals to become a member of our team at The Blood Center’s NEW Reference Laboratory located in Slidell. We have always emphasized that outstanding people are the key to our success. Applicants must be licensed in Louisiana as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT). We have openings for 7on/7off (7pm-7:30am) or 3 days per week – 12 hours shifts (Sun-Tues, Wed-Fri 7pm-7:30am). Our Reference Laboratory is an AABB accredited Immunohematology Reference Laboratories. Come join a dynamic team in performing molecular immunohematology testing, performing routine and complex transfusion service testing, and assisting area hospitals in saving lives by resolving unexpected serologic results. Position requires excellent organizational, communication and computer skills with a certification by a recognized certifying agency and a LA CLS/CLT license. The Blood Center pays a competitive starting wage and full benefits package including paid holidays, health, dental and life insurance on date of hire, paid time off after six months and an employer contributed retirement plan.
