CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED EMPLOYEES WANTED
 
The Blood Center is now interviewing for part-time Telerecruiters in New Orleans, Mandeville and Slidell areas.  This position contacts donors and sets appointments for them to come in and donate blood.  Candidates must have excellent communication skills and ability to speak with people on all levels.

This position’s work schedule varies, but may include evening and weekend hours.  The Blood Center offers paid holidays from date of hire, paid time off after six months, health and dental insurance after one year of employment and an employer contributed retirement plan.

POSITION'S PRIMARY PURPOSE
 
The essential function of the Telerecruiter is to recruit enough blood donors to meet the needs of client hospital patients.
 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
 
Essential Physical Requirements: The Telerecruiter position requires continual talking, hearing, repetitive motions and finger use. Climbing, reaching, standing and walking is seldomly required.
 
Working Conditions: This position's essential functions will be accomplished in a well-lighted, air-conditioned office. The employee is subject to long periods of viewing a personal computer.
 
Education: High school diploma or equivalent desirable.
 
Knowledge and Skills: Good communication, motivational and organizational skills, excellent phone etiquette, ability to spell accurately, ability to type 10 wpm and general knowledge of BC, its facilities and donor qualifications.
 
Licenses: None.
 
Use of Machinery and Software: Telephone, computer terminal, Safetrace and copy machine.
 
Experience: Telephone sales experience preferred but not necessary.
