Assistant Dean, Academics
The Assistant Dean for Academics at the School of Architecture leads the student support and academics operations team and works closely with the Associate Dean for Academics on school-wide issues of academics and student affairs. This position assists with the implementation of regular assessment and program review processes for program and university accreditation processes. The Assistant Dean partners closely with the Associate Dean for Academics and Program Directors, as well as departments across campus that are involved with student issues.
The Assistant Dean is responsible for the development and management of comprehensive advising strategies to promote academic success and student wellness of graduate and undergraduate students at the school. This position works directly with graduate and undergraduate students facing complex academic situations and those in need of advanced advising and support. The Assistant Dean also coordinates student participation in study abroad and administers the school’s travel fellowships.
