Director, Alumni Relations
Reporting to the Managing Director of Development, Freeman School of Business, the Director, Alumni Relations, Freeman School of Business (DAR), works closely with the school Dean and Senior Director to implement a strategic and comprehensive alumni relations program which complements the strategic plan of the A. B. Freeman School of Business. This position will develop strategies to identify, engage, and involve Freeman School alumni, parents,and donors with the university and with one another through the use of events and other activities. The Director will coordinate with the Office of Alumni Relations, Office of Advancement, the A. B. Freeman School of Business and the broader university to strengthen and encourage sustainable, lifelong relationships between constituents and the university during fundraising campaigns and beyond. The Director will coordinate with development colleagues,and various other offices, to determine meaningful ways of identifying,cultivating, and stewarding current donors. The director will establish new or work closely with existing alumni clubs, groups, and boards. They will play an active role in reunion volunteer recruitment, engagement, and reunion events. The Director is expected to build strong internal relationships with colleagues in Development, Alumni Relations, and with students, faculty and staff throughout the Freeman School of Business, developing a deep understanding of the Freeman School and the University, and to stay abreast of industry best practices in alumni engagement.
