The Social Perception Lab, directed by Dr. Laurie O’Brien, is seeking a Laboratory Research Technician who will contribute to multiple aspects of research projects examining prejudice, discrimination, and intergroup relations. The Laboratory Research Technician will work as part of a team comprised of graduate students and undergraduate research assistants and will coordinate day-to-day operations of the lab. Major responsibilities will include working with the lab director to develop stimulus materials for studies, collect and analyze human subjects data, and administrative duties. Other tasks will be commensurate with the experience and interests of the technician. The position requires excellent communication and organizational skills, a high degree of independence, meticulous work practices, and a demonstrated interest in social psychology.
