The Medical Research Specialist for this exciting virology research laboratory would perform multitude of diagnostic and quantitative assays and primarily focused on understanding how viruses cause disease and resulting immune responses control viral infections in Biosafety Level 2 laboratories (BSL2 and BSL2-enhanced), in adherence with the Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs) in place. This position will work independently with minimal supervision. The Specialist will also be responsible for equipment, shipping, and general laboratory maintenance.
