The Lupus Education Alliance Program (LEAP) is a research study to understand the experiences of people living with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) during the COVID – 19 pandemic. The incumbent in the Peer Educator. LEAP position will have direct communication with study participants living in Louisiana and Alabama, conducted virtually through Zoom Video Calls, phone calls, text messages, and e-mails. The incumbent will provide educational information on SLE in the context of COVID-19, schedule interviews and appointments for participants, and assist in the coordination of the research study.
