The Research Administrator shall provide faculty with pre-award support to identify funding opportunities, foster research collaboration, facilitate project ideation, support faculty research development, and enhance faculty competitiveness in securing external funding. Additionally, research administrators assist in continued post-award support to ensure the financial and programmatic requirements are completed, including compliance with all federal laws and granting agency regulations. The Research Administrator will also assist with research and database projects as requested. Strong organizational, accounting and computer skills are required. Must be able to multi-task, make decisions independently and be proactive. Frequent interaction with external contacts requires excellent communication skills to ensure ongoing research development.
