The Research Technology Manager provides a direct link between Tulane University’s School of Medicine and the Information Technology Department, proactively serving as a trusted advisor, key point of contact, and advocate on their behalf to ensure IT services and solutions meet the School of Medicine’s strategic priorities and everyday business needs. The Research Technology Manager assists the School of Medicine’s Executive Dean by providing strategic consulting, support, and guidance throughout research-IT initiatives. The Research Technology Manager also supports the School of Medicine’s Executive Dean in the planning and execution of initiatives to enable the SOM researchers to achieve objectives through the effective use of technology supported by Information Technology. The Research Technology Manager works proactively and requires minimal supervision.
