Senior Administrative Program Coordinator
Position manages and coordinates the Neurology Residency and Fellowship Programs and is the primary contact for applicants, residents, fellows and faculty of the Department of Neurology. Position supports residents and fellows. Assists with resident and faculty reimbursements. Works closely with Department Administrator to support staff. The incumbent is responsible for the day-to-day operation of Tulane's Neurology Residency Program and Internal Medicine - Neurology Residency Program. Additionally, the position is responsible for the day to day operations of the Fellowship program. Duties include the coordination of the recruitment process, orientation, in-service exams, monthly meetings and conferences, as well as payroll, personnel and other administrative functions associated with the residency programs. Collection and maintenance of information associated with the accreditation of the Neurology Residency Program is an essential component of this positionâs responsibilities. The incumbent performs responsibilities to assure program compliance with education and training objectives. The incumbent serves as liaison with official residency accreditation organizations as well as liaison to CCE (Center for Continuing Education) department of Neurology Grand Rounds series. This position is also responsible for maintaining resident rotation and clinic schedules, as well as faculty spreadsheets for Amion schedules.
