The Senior Program Manager of Retention and Student Success (RSS) develops and oversees projects and programs associated with improving Tulane University’s retention and graduation rates. This position is a leader in the design, development, and management of cross-unit/campus retention initiatives, including a campus-wide conference on student success. The Senior Program Manager works as a member of the Senior Associate Dean’s leadership team, which includes seven units and over 65 staff members. This position partners with and supports the Senior Associate Dean in facilitating annual planning, robust assessment processes, and annual unit reporting that are aligned to the RSS unit goals and the University’s retention and graduation efforts.
The Senior Program Manager oversees projects and coordinates advisory and ad hoc committees that support retention and student success. In addition to facilitating the annual planning of the RSS unit, this position coordinates the budget planning for the unit and manages the strategic stewardship of gift funding. The Senior Program Manager manages a comprehensive master calendar of programs and projects for the RSS unit. This position is a liaison with other campus offices to coordinate student retention and student support programming and projects.
