The Director provides administrative direction, supervision and support for the Blood Cancer Service Line at the Tulane Medical Center which is affiliated with the Sarah Cannon Blood Cancer Network. S/he works closely with the Cancer Service Line Administrator and Service Line Leadership to coordinate strategies and practices of the Hematologic Malignancy and Blood and Marrow Transplant programs.
The Director directly manages services related to stem cell collection, stem cell processing lab, nursing of outpatient departments of the program working closely with the department director(s)/manager(s) for these core functional areas of the program, including nursing services for IP care. Responsible for setting growth targets and executing plans to attain growth. Interfaces and coordinates cooperatively with program components internal and external administrations and staff.
Areas of responsibility include FACT oversight and maintenance, contracting, quality and compliance, strategic development, marketing and outreach and research. Position Requirements: (Minimum qualifications for the position) Licensure/Certification/Registration: OCN PreferredEducation: BSN or PharmD Required; MBA or MHA preferredExperience: 5+ Years in Oncology; BMT preferred; Prior program or clinical management preferred
Special qualifications: Experience in Oncology / Stem Cell Transplant / Research. Preferred BMT Program experience. Proficient use of MS Office suite. Previous management experience preferred
