Must be a high school graduate. Currently enrolled in college level classes preferred. Prior experience in customer service preferred, and must possess strong communication skills. Must have excellent guest relations skills and willingness to learn and help others.
The Entry Point Assistant is responsible for taking temperatures and asking if patients, staff, guests, vendors and contractors entering the facility are experiencing restricted symptoms (based on the current CDC guidelines provided). Will be required to facilitate the visitor policy, and ensure that these restrictions are maintained. Will also be required to monitor access using multiple departmental patient schedules. Other duties may be added as hospital and CDC protocols change. The successful candidate should be courtesous and professional at all times. The position does require the ability to multi-task and communicate effectively, according to EJGH’s customer service standards.
